I was happy to see I had two designs in the recent Just Cross Stitch issue.
It's hard to see but the ornament I designed is the one in the upper right corner with the small reindeer and the second piece is called "Summer Song" and is stitched on 28 ct black linen. I love the way JCS framed the piece. I wouldn't have thought of using a brown frame but after seeing it I can't imagine what other color would have looked as nice. Hope you enjoy them!

Love your ornament, can't wait to stitch it (if I can get my hands on the JCS issue).
Congrats on being featured.
Congratulations Deborah! I am still awaiting my issue!
My SIL gave me a subscription to JCS for Christmas. I can't wait for my issue to arrive! Stitching on black linen isn't something I've ever done but your sweet little blue bird looks fantastic!
Please check out my blog, I'm learning as I go.
Thanks!

Congratulions Deb. I have the magazine in my hot little hands. Love the reindeer one and I know someone it will be perfect for!
Yup--have the magazine and those two are among some of my faves! Great designs! Now to arrange the time to stitch them...
I LOVE your ornament and the summer song design! Both wonderful designs that I cannot wait to stitch!
I've been anxiously waiting for the magazine to show up here in Canada. Now that I see Kathy has her copy, I'll have to check the stands again! Can't wait to see your designs. I love the look of the summer song!
Ahh,thank you so much everyone I really appreciate the comments. As far as black linen, I think you could choose any linen color you like. However, I did choose 28 ct black because it was much easier to stitch due to the bigger holes. Put a piece of white paper on your lap and the holes show up well.
That's two issues in a row that you've had 2 designs - I'm SO glad I subscribed to JCS!!
