One of the favorite themes in antique samplers is Adam and Eve. I thought I'd put up a few of the photos I've collected of these samplers and hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do.

Beautiful eye candy!!! I could look at them all day. I am a big fan of Adam and Eve,too. Thanks so much for sharing!
I just love Adam and Eve samplers and have stitched about five so far with two more on scroll rods to be finished. I'd love to have a whole wall of them. But some of the ones you posted I've never seen before. Do you have the names of them?
What an amazing range of samplers. Thank you for sharing your virtual collection. I'm drooling here!
Stunning! Thanks so much for sharing!
I wish I had more details about these samplers but I don't :-( I collect the photos because I love looking at them.
ohhhh, I would love to stand and stare at them in person! Beautiful... how long have you been collecting Deborah? Just beautiful... oh, and I'm so excited I just got peaceful paridise in the mail!!! Thank you for such a lovely design!
I'm stitching Ann Carter right now...a reproduction sampler with Adam and Eve on it - in my humble opinion, it is gorgeous. I'm working on an entire sampler wall of nothing but Adam and Eve's. Then I'm moving on to Noah :) Love, love, love looking at all your photos you've collected. They all are wonderful aren't they?
These are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing the photos. Wish they all had designs for stitching them!
