ReplyDeleteNice sun/son. I like the poem too, also dealing with some death issues - 6 family members dying in 18 months.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness me! This is one going straight on my wishlist. Your son has the gift!
ReplyDeleteLove, love LOVE this, Deborah! Your son did a great job on the sun, I love it and all the rest of it, just gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteIt's just gorgeous Deborah, I just saw it on the Elegant Stitch Website as well.

ReplyDeleteA beautiful sampler and a must for my wishlist.
ReplyDeleteDeborah, thanks for coming by my blog! I just discovered your designs the other day and asked my online source if she would carry them. I LOVE all your gorgeous work! Heaven Above is a beautiful piece.
ReplyDeleteI stitched your little Valentine freebie this weekend... I will send you a picture. I used 18 ct. Aida in Rue Green, WDW Red Pear, WDW Cadet, and DMC 840. It turned out very sweet!
I love your blog and will visit often.
What a beautiful design! Congratulations on its release. :-D I love all the the motifs.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Deborah! And your son's sun is lovely... and just perfect for this piece! :-) This is going on my Wish List...
ReplyDeleteCongrats on another lovely design! :-)
I have this piece ordered, I love it. I wondered if you could post a list of the threads if you used overdyes, it's easier for ordering. If it's DMC no worries, I can easily get that :-).
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! Now I can order the bits and pieces I need to stitch it.

ReplyDeleteHello Deborah, I love this design, I was wondering if you came up with the verse also or is it adapted from an antique sampler. I sometimes "swap" out verses from samplers I stitch because I like the pattern/ design but not the verse. (Some of them are just too morbid for my liking)
